An organization is the highest level of combining the work within Loggify.

Everything in Loggify is a nested within an organization. Admins can invite team-members to their organization.
The different user roles and permissions then define what the user can do within the organization.

Each Organization is the entry point for all connections (incoming and outgoing), so all posts land in one central repository of updates that enable communication across channels and stakeholder groups.

The Free, Startup and Growth Plans have only one team per organization, meaning, that all team-members can do the things within their permission scope on all connections and posts.
e.g. All Editors in the organization can add and edit all Update Posts.

The Enterprise plan allows for multiple teams within one organization enabling more granular permissions.
e.g. A specific Editor can only create/ edit Update Posts with the tag "iOS App" associated to it.

Billing and Payment takes place on a per-organization-basis

A team feels like a tag for posts and acts in many way just like the normal tags ("Feature", "Improvement", "Bugfix") do, as they can be added to posts and appear just like them in all integration.
If a team tag is added to a specific user, this limits the user to only perform their permissions (e.g. Edit Posts) on posts that also have the team tag associated to them.
This way a product owner from the team "iOS App" can not change the posts from the team "Backend Services", while both their communication is shared in the same repository.

It depends....

If you have a bigger organization, that works on the same product for your stakeholders, you certainly need multiple teams within the same organization, as the customer value is only provided with all communication and the effort of all teams combined

If you have a company where all groups of people work on separate projects (e.g. an Agency), you should go for multiple organizations, as the communication should be different for each of the projects. This also easily allows you to invite the agency-client. Please reach out for our Agency deals.

The base setup for target groups in Loggify are:

• Team
• Customers
• Public/ Leads

whereas the free plan onyl offers the public/ leads one for communication

On the Enterprise plan, more target groups can be configured to adapt to the business, e.g.

• Managment
• Field-Workers
• Office-Workers

In detail: It does great using Zapier or Make as the integrators between.
You can automate the creation of new drafted Update Posts upon certain events in your issue tracker (e.g. Ticket closed) and then take the content creation up and publish in Loggify itself.
This way you'll never forget to publish the news in your product.

Loggify does not offer a native integration to Microsoft Teams yet, but connecting a Teams-Channel is super easy using Zapier or Make.com.
Simply use the "New Post" trigger for "team" as target group and connect your Teams channel.

A native Teams integration is on the roadmap. Shoot us a message to push it up in priority.
